March 2017 From the President:

I hope everyone is having a great winter and enjoying their trains. I spent a recent afternoon cleaning up my train room and decided I need more shelves. I still find a few trains now and then at our local meets and shows to keep things interesting. You won’t want to miss our next meet.
March 12th is the open meet and doors will open to the public at 12:15 and close at 2:30. The membership will be allowed in to setup at 11:15. If you are selling please plan on staying until 2:30. If you have to leave prior to that it might be best to sit this one out. We want to show prospective members what we are all about.

Bring your appetite as the Ladies of the Lakes and Pines will be serving refreshments and the trains will be running on schedule.

Lastly, dues are due! Let’s get this wrapped up in March so we can set our budget for 2017 and focus our attention elsewhere.

One final note – Our website has been frozen by our vendor and is not updateable until we build a new website. We will be finding a new vendor later this fall so we will only set up a limited website in
the near future. Until further notice your newsletter will be the best
source for Lakes and Pines news.
