Lakes and Pines Division - Train Collectors Association
FROM THE PRESIDENT
We had a great holiday party on December 9th with many members
in attendance. The food was excellent, and the membership filled
in the rest with a wonderful assortment of holiday goodies. I would
like to thank the many volunteers who arrived early for set up and
stayed late for cleanup. Strong volunteering from our members is
what keeps the Lakes and Pines viable.
A special thanks goes outto Santa for taking time out from his busy schedule to join us for an afternoon of fellowship. There were some cool trains available as
well on the tables. I also need to thank Jerry Roeder’s family for
providing the majority of the door prizes as well as the other
members that dropped off prizes. More of Jerry’s trains will be
available to the membership for sale at the March Open meet.
2019 Dues are due and can be paid via the mail or in person at any
one of our next meets. We need to wrap this up soon so we can
set our 2019 budget and ensure we can fulfill our commitment to
Murzyn Hall.
We are all set for our January meet on the 13th. I hope everyone
had a delightful holiday season and is ready for the 2019 train
season.
